I cannot recommend Elle highly enough. I was worried the online lessons wouldn’t engage my son - I was wrong. My 8 year old needed support with handwriting which he wasn’t getting from school. Elle immediately made both Arlo and I feel at ease and supported us both - my son grew in skill and confidence and I had an experienced teacher and parent to consult and to reassure. Elle really took the time to get to know Arlo and tailor lessons to suit his interests. I will always be grateful for Elle’s support. 5 STARS (out of 5) 🌟

I’m so glad I found Elle to prepare my 6 Year old  for a Grammar School Assessment. Her style is effective and engaging, and she is very patient and understanding with my child. We originally looked for an 'in person' tutor and when we came across Miss Elle we were initially sceptical of how effective remote tutoring could be by comparison. 

How wrong we were! 

It has been a delight to see our daughter progress with Miss Elle. The online sessions have been so fun, engaging and have really helped with focus and concentration.  Both reading and writing have taken a big step forward and the pace of progress is impressive.  Would absolutely recommend Elle to other parents, especially those sceptical of the efficacy of remote learning.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have Elle as our child's reading coach. She is a fantastic teacher who takes the time to explain everything carefully, ensuring that our child fully understands each lesson. Her approach is filled with encouragement, positive energy, and focus, which has significantly boosted our child's confidence and enthusiasm for reading.

The techniques she uses are outstanding, and we've seen a remarkable improvement in both our child's reading and writing abilities. I’m so thrilled that I found Elle to coach my two children, Sophie (aged 5) and Theo (who has just turned 4). They both absolutely love the sessions and have made excellent progress. I’ve found that the online sessions are fabulous as we can fit them in easily with a busy family life.  As Theo is a summer born child I’ve been anxious about him starting school at such a young age, but the sessions with Elle have given me the confidence that he will thrive at school. Elle is creative, enthusiastic, patient and her knowledge and passion for phonics is infectious. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Elle engaged with my 8 year old in such a calm and non judgemental way. She tailored her approach to meet his abilities and pitched her coaching perfectly to produce really marked improvements in his writing in just one session. It is lovely to see his confidence  improving and I’m really glad we decided to invest in improving his writing skills at this young age to make sure he has a strong foundation for the future.

Discovering Elle as a tutor has been a turning point for my daughter, Amy.  Diagnosed with PDA within a diagnosis of Autism and struggling to attend school full-time, Amy's reading and writing skills were significantly behind her peers. We needed a tutor who genuinely understood her needs and had the patience to help her improve. Elle has proved to be that tutor and more.

I'll admit, I had my doubts about the effectiveness of online lessons for reading and handwriting, but those doubts were quickly erased. Elle is a kind, high energy and creative teacher. At first we were apprehensive about virtual phonics lessons as our daughter is only four, but Olivia truly loves and looks forward to her reading lessons! Elle makes lessons exciting and engaging and even includes the family ducks, tortoises and other pets to keep the sessions interesting. Elle works through the read, write, inc curriculum in a structured manner and Olivia is learning quickly - after just a couple of months she can read several 3 letter words and is starting to work on short sentences. We can’t recommend Elle enough!

I'm so happy to have found Elle! Her short 20 minute teaching sessions, three times per week, have been perfect for my granddaughter, who will be starting school in September. She has completed all the phase 2 phonics sounds, how to blend letters to form words, and how to begin writing those letters correctly.

While getting this head start before school is fantastic, I believe the greater benefit is that she has learned to engage with a teacher and experience the positive outcomes of her hard work.
