Elle is an amazing reading coach, who arrives with bags of energy to deliver a fun, engaging session every single week. My 6 year old loves his time with Elle and has made enormous progress in just a few months. I can’t recommend The Reading Coach highly enough!

Elle is a kind, high energy and creative teacher. At first we were apprehensive about virtual phonics lessons as our daughter is only four, but Olivia truly loves and looks forward to her reading lessons! Elle makes lessons exciting and engaging and even includes the family ducks, tortoises and other pets to keep the sessions interesting. Elle works through the read, write, inc curriculum in a structured manner and Olivia is learning quickly - after just a couple of months she can read several 3 letter words and is starting to work on short sentences. We can’t recommend Elle enough!

Elle engaged with my 8 year old in such a calm and non judgemental way. She tailored her approach to meet his abilities and pitched her coaching perfectly to produce really marked improvements in his writing in just one session. It is lovely to see his confidence  improving and I’m really glad we decided to invest in improving his writing skills at this young age to make sure he has a strong foundation for the future.

I’m so thrilled that I found Elle to coach my two children, Sophie (aged 5) and Theo (who has just turned 4). They both absolutely love the sessions and have made excellent progress. I’ve found that the online sessions are fabulous as we can fit them in easily with a busy family life.  As Theo is a summer born child I’ve been anxious about him starting school at such a young age, but the sessions with Elle have given me the confidence that he will thrive at school. Elle is creative, enthusiastic, patient and her knowledge and passion for phonics is infectious. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Elle is a positive, patient and passionate teacher. Not only has she taught our youngest child to read prior to starting school, she has engaged our eldest child and taught him to love and enjoy reading, giving him the confidence and skills to read aloud and at a good pace. Elle's Reading Coaching for Toby has been immensely helpful. His comprehension, especially inference skills, have greatly improved. We also attended Elle's story sessions at Graylingwell, which were fabulous. Highly recommend!

I've known Elle for several  years through my work as her hairdresser. She is always imparting tips and hints related to reading and she gave me some great advice on encouraging my young son to engage with books. She suggested placing board books at the bottom of his cot, so when he woke up he would investigate and start looking at them, and like magic it worked!  Now he loves books and enjoys bedtime stories.
